Solo Casinos 2026

Introduced through the UK Switch card scheme, Solo was a debit-card brand designed for transactions that required electronic authorization on every purchase. It became familiar on British bank cards in the 1990s and 2000s, including cards issued to younger customers and account holders who did not have a standard Switch or Maestro card. Solo is now a historical card product rather than a current standalone payment network.

The card worked through the same broad merchant-acquiring model as other debit cards: the merchant submitted the transaction for electronic authorization and the issuer decided whether the linked bank account could fund it. Online merchants that displayed Solo therefore depended on card-number ranges and acquiring support for the product, not on a separate Solo wallet.

Old casino cashier lists can still contain the Solo name because it was once widely supported by UK-facing gambling sites. That does not establish current acceptance.

Mastercard retired the Solo brand after the UK debit market moved toward Maestro and later other debit products, so a modern cardholder should rely on the current card brand and issuer information instead. Historical Solo records are useful for identifying older transactions, but current deposits or withdrawals should not be routed using the obsolete label.

Location availability: No active casino matching Solo is currently listed as available for your current location. No current active casino is assigned to this category globally, so historical archived reviews are shown for reference.
