Hold percentage is an operator accounting measure
Hold is commonly calculated as gaming revenue divided by amounts wagered over a reporting period. Gross gambling yield generally equals stakes and other gambling receipts minus prizes paid. It can be influenced by product mix, player behaviour, jackpots, unfinished events and the period selected.
