Amaya 2026
The Amaya name belongs mainly to an earlier phase of gaming technology rather than a current independent casino-game studio. Amaya Gaming Group built a business spanning online and land-based gaming technology and, in 2014, acquired Rational Group, the owner of PokerStars and Full Tilt. During that period Amaya also supplied its own Casino Gaming System and a library of online and mobile casino content.
The corporate structure changed substantially after the Rational Group acquisition. Amaya sold its remaining business-to-business gaming assets by 31 July 2015 and increasingly centered the company on consumer-facing PokerStars operations. It later changed its corporate name to The Stars Group, which was subsequently acquired by Flutter Entertainment in 2020. Older casino libraries can still preserve “Amaya” as a provider label even though that label no longer represents a current standalone supplier releasing games under the same corporate structure.
Games carrying the Amaya name should therefore be read in their historical context. Their rules, return-to-player settings and features belong to the individual release. The old provider label should not be used to attribute present-day PokerStars, Flutter licences or current software ownership without checking the specific title and rights holder.
