Swedish krona Casinos 2026

Swedish krona is Sweden's SEK currency and is issued by Sveriges Riksbank.

Sveriges Riksbank issues Swedish banknotes and coins. Current banknotes are 20, 50, 100, 200, 500 and 1,000 kronor, with a modern series introduced during the 2015–2016 banknote changeover.

Sweden belongs to the European Union but does not use the euro as its national currency. As a result, SEK and EUR are separate account denominations and can move against each other in the foreign-exchange market. A balance genuinely held in SEK avoids an internal conversion when amounts are recorded, but an external card or bank account in another currency can still trigger conversion during funding or withdrawal. The specific exchange rate and any surcharge come from the bank or payment provider handling that transaction, not from the Riksbank's reference information.
